Official European Kevin Sorbo Fanclub

We arrived at the hotel around 7p.m on Friday, could not sleep, too excited about seeing Kevin again.

Saturday 17th October 2009

Got up early had breakfeast and made our way to the convention centre, tickets bought went straight to Kevin's signing table, where we met Lindsey, Heidi and Anne. As we waited Jan said how difficult it was to take photos of Kevin as he wouldn't stay still. Smiling, I looked at Kevin, who looked so gorgeous, and said 'Kevin can't stay still', then to my surprise Kevin smiled at me and waved, that made me go weak at the knees, it meant so much to me that he remembered me. We both had our photo taken with Kevin, I had waited so long for that hug. On Kevin's table he had some photos from AVENGING ANGEL and MEET THE SPARTANS, so naturally those were the ones I asked Kevin to sign.. Looking into those gorgeous blue eyes I said 'Kevin its great to see you again' and thanked him for coming to Ghent and how much it meant to us. Kevin smiled and said thankyou and told me about the TV pilot he was filming in Vancouver in January 2010, will keep my fingers crossed for him and about the two people who lived in the same apartment who became good friends after meeting him at a convention in America, Kevin did say where it was, sorry guys Sorbohaze creeping in. Then it was time for another hug mmmmmmmmmmmmm heaven. Still in cloud 9 picked up the photos, camera and said see you at the 2nd signing, then realised as I left that I hadn't paid for the photos, silly me, looked at Kevin's assistant and said I'm fine until I meet Kevin, they looked at each other and smiled.

Then it was time for Kevin's photo shoot; we all waited in anticipation, you could hear Kevin laughing and joking with everybody, he was great, then it was mine and Jan's turn. As we were having our photo taken Kevin said, they're touching my bottom/bum, looking over at Jan I touched Kevin's bottom/bum gently and said, Kevin you said we were touching you bottom/bum, Kevin pulled me closer and smiled, he was such a sport. Then I had one with Kevin on my own.

Those few moments with Kevin were so so special and precious, all too soon it was over, didn't want to go believe me. Being there in Kevin's arms was heaven. Before the Question and Answer session we all went to get our photos. While we waited the man who was in charge of printing the photos gave us all some biscuits to eat while we were waiting, it was so funny us sitting on the chairs eating biscuits. Lindsey knew I had a thankyou card from all of us and she suggested that I go back to Kevin's signing table and meet them at the Questions and Answer session which I did. Kevin thanked me for the card and asked me to say a big thankyou to everybody, you could see how much he appreciated the thought. Kevin asked me to remind him about the photo from Psych and as he was looking for it under the table he said won't be long, it was great. On the way back met everbody and we all went to sit down. There was a loud cheer when Kevin came in and he told us about the TV pilot, about the 8 or 9 2 hour westerns in Australia, for his old New Zealand buddies that he is in talks with, fingers crossed on that one and how both he and Christopher Judge lost their way back to the hotel (Kevin could have stayed with us :) and that he hopes that they will get the funds to finish off TALES OF AN ANCIENT EMPIRE , will keep my fingers crossed on that one too. All too soon it was over. We all went back to Kevin's table to say goodbye. I asked him for one last hug saying that it has got to last me until I saw him again and as Kevin left he looked straight at me smiled and waved. It was so so sad to see him go and there were tears in my eyes as I watched him leave.

Part 2
On Sunday we went to Lindseys room and she showed us Kevin's poster that he had signed on the Saturday for us, Lindsey had trouble rolling it back up again so me and Anne laid it on the bed and tried to roll it up, it was so funny, Heidi had to go and sit down she was laughing so much, finally we did it and gave the poster back to Lindsey who put it away for safe keeping.
I will always remember the good time in Ghent seeing Heidi, Lindsey and meeting Anne for the first time, making new friends and meeting Kevin again mmmmmmm.
Kevin was thoughtful, kind, caring and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was relaxed and was really enjoying himself even though he had come straight from filming in Louisiana. When he knew that some of our friends had missed the first photo shoot he went back to do another photo shoot, this shows what a big heart Kevin has and that he cares about his fans. Kevin we can't thank you enough for coming and spending a very special day with us all, and we can't say it in words how much it meant for us to see you again.
Kevin on a personal note I will always remember those precious hours spent with you, the kindness you showed me especially when I maybe hugged you too hard, it was just sooo good to see you again and that you remembered me, it means so much to me, thankyou, and remember what I told you, don't work too hard. .
