"The period of the falling leaves"
When "ravens" open their wings, magic is in the air. The Native Americans worshipped these black-feathered birds with their powerful beaks, because in their mythology they are said to be the messengers and meditors between mankind and nature. A mysterious influence on people who were born under the sign of this birth-totem is their deep interest in the mystical sides of our lives.
"Ravens" are like their birth-totem no loners. They only feel at home within a group. With their sociable, happy and lively temperament one likes to invite them constantly. "Ravens" hate fights and discords, but due to their own tendency of spontaneous changes of mind, unfortunately they tend to cause them. If "ravens" suddenly dislike the atmosphere within a group or a room, there is danger that they will get sullen and touchy.

The Purpose In The Life Of The Ravens:
The concious main target of "ravens" is a harmonic co-operation. When the members within a team do a good job, if all members within a family are satisfied and all discussions end up in harmony, "ravens" feel comfortable within their elements. All too easily they tend to cover and hide their own deficit: Indecisiveness.
Sometimes they make too many distinctions, so they cannot see the wood for the trees. Never mind their slight inability to recognize what is really good for them. So they hesitate, change their decisions, draw back and end up in depending on the opinions of others. This is not always for their own advantage and profit. The subconcious self always looks for personal wisdom. On their way to gain this, "ravens" cannot avoid to develop decisiveness. And the ability to accept even those mistakes made if a decision went wrong. But within the Native American's Circle Of Life there are no real mistakes, everything happens due to certain reasons. The courage to decide and the ability to recover from putative mistakes, "ravens" can learn from their opposite-totem: The falcon.

Natural elements that effect "ravens" particularly:
With the beginning of the period of the falling leaves, nature prepares itself for the winter. The power of the sun declines and the westwinds get stronger. Nothing of the laughter and merriment of the summer is left. Thoughtfulness is the main aspect of this period of time. Correspondingly people who were born under the influence of this animal-totem are restrained, never cheecky persons. This wide-awake spirit the "ravens" owe to their main element: A mixture of air with earth. "Ravens" are sociable and talkative persons. But their earthly stability sometimes leads "ravens" into situations where they find themselves trapped. Then there is the danger that "ravens" can become ruthless and follow clearance without consideration of others. In the main it is important that "ravens" get out of this prison quickly. Their mineral-totem, the azurit, helps "ravens" to make their peace with their earth energies. The soft shape of the metalic-blue stone leads them to a deep self-awareness and the heightening of this new awareness in the long run. Through these energy source "ravens" are in a position to control their moods. Shamans wear azurits as rings on their right hand or as a pendant close to their body, this symbolizes revival and rebirth to them. The extract of of the ivy the shamans use for the soothing of dermatological problems. But the measuring of this sort of 'medicine' is only known to professional shamans. So hands off, the evergreen ivy is very poisonous!!!

What ravens love most:
"Ravens" are from top to toe romantics and so much in love with love itself, that they wholeheartedly get involved in flirts. So belly-flops are preprogrammed. But not even that will stop "ravens" in their permanent search for a perfect love relationship. Male "ravens" are very charming, thoughtful and attentive. They will tell women all the things they would like to hear from a man. Female "ravens" captivate men with their feminity which drives men always crazy.
"Ravens" will promise a lot and keep those promises. In bed they are soft, tender and insatiable. Long foreplays are very important for them: Their play with their catch!
