The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network
Actor Kevin Sorbo, star and action hero in the television series "Hercules: The Legendary Journey" and "Andromeda," is kicking off a new public service ad campaign to help prevent food allergies in at-risk infants. Sorbo, holding his young son, is featured in the ad being launched by the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), in partnership with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), to educate expectant and nursing mothers.
Afterschool Alliance
Kevin Sorbo is spokesperson for the Afterschool Alliance. The Afterschool Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of after school programs and advocating for quality, affordable programs for all children. It is supported by a group of public, private and nonprofit organizations that share the Alliance’s vision of ensuring that all children have access to after school programs by 2010.
