Dear Hannelore,
2007 is turning out to be yet another
frustrating year in the pilot
world. i have been down to the wire on five new tv series and lost
out to the 'other guy' every time. it is strange and perplexing.
hard to figure out this crazy town. i am doing well in the rooms as
i read for these clowns, but it is a whacked business.
on the plus
side i just booked a great western with the hallmark
cable station. i have always loved their movies and this one will be
no exception. titled 'avenging angel'. i have the lead role, get
ready for this, i will be playing a preacher!!! what is up with
these preacher, father, priest roles as of late. is god trying to
tell me something???? we go to camera april 2 here in los angeles.
my characters name is preacher. you never find out. has a pale
rider meets josey wales feel to it. i am a preacher with a dark past
from my days in the civil war who decides to turn his life around
when his wife and small girl are killed by bad guys. he goes off the
deep end and becomes a bounty hunter to rid the world of evil. 3
years later bumping into the very guys who killed his wife and
child. time for a little whoop ass.
of course, when
it rains it pours. i booked another movie for sony
at the same time and can not do both. i wish i could, but i did pick
the better of the two. there are about 5 other independent films i
have on the backburner that i am up for over the course of the rest
of the year. time will tell if they are for real, but they want me.
so all is good there. i just want to get another series. i like the
schedule of a tv show.
as for all your
entries for a new title for my foundation. we may
just keep it as it is, not my idea. i am fighting for mentors in
motion. mim has a nice little ring to it. but thanks to all of you
for the wonderful entries.
